You are welcome to add more people to your booking, as long a the apartment´s capacity allows that. For each additional guest we charge 35,00€ per person and per night. We kindly ask you to simply write an e-mail to hello@bensimon.de to make an appointment with us to settle the payment.
Arrival

 


Hauptbahnhof - The drive takes about 17 minutes. From the central station you take the Regio Train in the direction of Nauen, Brandenburg until the station S+U Jungfernheide (one station). From the S-Bahn Hof Jungfernheide you need to take the Ringbahn (S42) until S Beusselstraße. From S Beusselstraße it is a 3 minute walk (240 meters) until your apartment house.

Taxi - A taxi drive costs around 15€ and takes about 10 minutes. We suggest you take a taxi at the airport or through the Uber or FREE NOW App. There is also a 24 hour hotline available: +49 30 21 01 01


Airport Berlin Brandenburg (BER) - The drive takes about 41 minutes. Depending on your arrival terminal, you need to walk to Terminal 1-2 and take the Regio train, in the direction of the central station (Hauptbahnhof). You leave the train at the station Gesundbrunnen. From S-Bahn Gesundbrunnen you need to take Ringbahn (S42) until the station S Beusselstraße. From there it is only a 3 min walk (240 meters) until your apartment house.

Taxi - A taxi drive costs around 75€ and takes about 35 minutes. We suggest you take a taxi at the airport or through the Uber or FREE NOW App. There is also a 24 hour hotline available: +49 30 21 01 01

Baby

If required, we will gladly provide you with a baby bed and/or a baby chair free of charge. In this case please let us know at least one day before your arrival.

Children under 2 years stay free of charge.

Unfortunately we do not provide babysitting service.

The best way to explore the city in good weather is by bike. You can rent bikes directly from us aprox. (upon availbilty) from April to November for EUR 15.00 a day.
Kitchen

In our apartment hotel with a fully-equipped kitchen in each apartment, we unfortunately do not offer breakfast. 

You can either prepare yourself a nice breakfast in your fully-equipped kitchen or grab breakfast outside at one of these breakspots in the proximity of the apartment:

Check-in

Check-In

We have made our entire check-in process available online to provide you with the most flexible and convenient check-in possible. 

You will receive an invitation for your online check-in within 3 days before your arrival.

The online check-in is an elementary part of your booking, as you will only receive your door code when you have completed the check-in process.
Our apartment buildings and apartments are equipped with a keyless door lock system that can be opened with door codes.

The door code usually has 4 digits and is valid from the day of arrival to the day of departure. With the code you can enter your apartment on the day of arrival from 15 o'clock (3 pm), but you can enter the luggage room the whole day. You can leave your luggage in our luggage room free of charge before you move in (see note below).

Early check-in

The earliest check-in time we can guarantee you is 15 o'clock (3 pm). Previous guests are allowed to stay in the apartment until the regular check-out at 11 o'clock (11 am), just like you. In order to give you a clean and prepared apartment, we need the time in between for cleaning.

If we can provide you with the apartment before the regular check-in time, we will inform you on the same day.

You are welcome to leave your luggage in our luggage room until you move into the apartment.

Check-out

Late Check-Out

Unfortunately, the latest check-out we can promise you is 11 o'clock (11 am). The guests who booked the apartment after you are allowed to check into the apartment as of 15 o'clock (3 pm) and we need about 3-4 hours after your departure to prepare the apartment. If the guests after you plan to arrive later, we will be happy to let you know again. We hope for your understanding. Of course, it is no problem to store luggage in our luggage room in the apartment building (same address) after you check out until you leave.

The latest check-out we can promise you is 11am. The guests who booked the apartment after you are allowed to check-in from 3pm. After your departure we need about 3-4 hours to clean the apartment and prepare it for the new guests. We ask for your understanding in this matter.

We know that the day of departure can always be a bit hectic. In order to guarantee you the greatest comfort and to avoid waiting times for you, we therefore offer you an online check-out. You are welcome to use our digital guest concierge (tablet) in the apartment under "Online Check-Out". We will also send you an invitation for your online check-out in a direct message or per email. 

At your online check-out, you also have the option of creating a digital invoice for your stay and reporting any damage to the apartment. We would ask you to carry out the online check-out to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Cleaning

It is not your job to clean the apartment. We are happy to do it for you. However, we ask you to not leave the apartment in a particularly untidy condition. We also ask you to note and report any damage you may have caused or noticed during your stay. If the apartment is left in an extremely poor condition, the guest may be charged an additional cleaning fee after check-out.

A final cleaning is included in your room price.

However, we would like to point out that we have to charge a special cleaning fee of € 100.00 for heavily soiled apartments. Heavy impurities also include possible odour nuisance.


Between the third and fourth floor there is a "Guest Supply Storage" where cleaning utensils and supplies are available for our guests.
Commercial use

We only allow photo and video recordings in our apartments for private purposes.

Commercial recordings for film, TV, advertising, for monetary social media applications (e.g. YouTube, Instagram, Facebook etc.) or stock footage agencies (e.g. Shutterstock, iStock etc.) are stritcly forbidden and require prior consultation with us.

A permission to shoot/take pictures within an apartment granted by us does not release the guest from the valid house rules. In addition, care must be taken to ensure that specially used light sources do not disturb other guests or tenants of adjacent apartment buildings.

Damages

We have furnished our apartments with high-quality inventory with great attention to detail. Please use our property carefully and inform us immediately in the event of damage.

We reserve the right to calculate the replacement value for major damage/violations.

Deposit

We will request a damage deposit via PayPal or credit card at check-in. The deposit will be reserved in your PayPal account or by credit card, but not debited. The deposit will be released approximately 24 hours after the damage-free check-out.

 

Doorcode

Our apartments are equipped with digital locks and door codes. Accordingly, you will receive a link to your online check-in 72 hours before your arrival. After you have completed this, you will automatically receive the door code with which you can enter the apartment building and the apartment from 3 pm on the day of your arrival.

Check-in


Unfortunately the earliest check-in time we can promise you is 3 pm. We are sorry but the guests who are in the apartment before you are allowed to stay in the apartment like you, until check out at 11am. As soon as they leave the apartment, it has to be cleaned and prepared for you. If the apartment is ready for occupancy earlier you will receive a message from us on the day of your arrival. You are however welcome to store your luggage in our luggage room, which is located in the backyard of the apartment complex.

In case of emergencies however, there are two main emergency numbers in Germany that you need to remember. These include: 112 and 116117. 112 is intended for (medical) emergencies, while 116 117 is for urgent but not life-threatening (medical) situations.

Equipment

The bed linen for each booked guest is provided and prepared by us accordingly.

Each apartment is equipped with towels, a hair dryer, hand soap, shampoo, shower gel and hair conditioner. If required we will gladly bring you more.

In order to make your stay even more comfortable, each apartment is equipped with basic cooking equipment that you can use free of charge. This includes a coffee machine, a kettle, a toaster, coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, sweetener, salt, pepper, olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Doorcode

We advise you to save your code in a safe place. In case you forget it, you can contact us via phone or any time via E-Mail. Please do not share the code with people outside of your group.

Kitchen

Unfortunately, we no longer offer a fridge Service. However, in the apartment you will find some basic things like coffee, coffee filter, tea, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper.

Feel free to use the online services of different only supermarkets which deilver groceries within a short amount of time.

Garbage


If you want to dispose of your garbage yourself in between, you will find several garbage cans in the first backyard. As part of our Green Apartments concept, we ask you to observe the waste separation and not to place any waste next to the trash cans.
Cleaning

You can request a intermediate cleaning for your booking.

For stays longer than 5 days, we will provide you with an intermediate cleaning free of charge.

This service includes the exchange of bedding and towels, and the cleaning of the kitchen and bathroom. Please send us an E-Mail with the time period in which you will not be in the apartment, so we can organize a cleaning for you in that time frame. Out of of hygienic reasons, you can not stay in the apartment whilst we are conducting the cleaning.

Payment process

At your online check out you can easily and comfortably create your own invoice.

In case you did not create your invoice at your online check out feel free to E-Mail us and we will send you to create your own invoice.

Key(s)

For your flexibility and comfort we use personal door codes instead of material keys.

You will receive your door code and all information to enter the apartment after completing your online check-in.

You will receive a link to your online check-in 72 hours before your arrival. After you have completed it, you will automatically receive the door code that will allow you to enter the apartment building and the apartment on the day of your arrival beginning from 3 pm. If the apartment will be ready earlier than 3 pm on the day of your arrival, we will notify you without being asked.

 

Kitchen

Each apartment has its own full equipped kitchen (of course including a fridge and a stove).

This includes among other things: a coffee machine, a kettle, a toaster, coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, salt, pepper, stevia, olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

 

Check-out

If you have forgotten something in the apartment, there is no need to come back. We will collect it for you and send it back to an address of your choice. This service is free of charge for shipping fees that are less than 10€.

Sickingenstrasse 4, 10553 Berlin
Central city center location in Berlin-Mitte, old district Tiergarten, in the Moabit city district. The Tiergarten district is known for the park of the same name, the main train station, Potsdamer Platz, the Reichstag, Bellevue Palace and the Victory Column. You can reach numerous sights directly by public transport.

luggage


You can store your luggage in our luggage storage on the day of arrival and departure. This is on the right in front of our apartment house (in the backyard). The door can be easily opened with your four-digit door code.
night rest

Please respect the night rest of our neighbours and other guests daily from 10 pm to 8 am. Please make sure to avoid disturbing noise in general.

In the event of serious violations, we unfortunately have to end your stay immediately.

Kitchen

If you are not in the mood to cook for yourself, it is possible to order food and let it be delivered directly to your apartment. Remember to communicate to the restaurant or the delivery person the number of the apartment before placing your order. We advice the following Apps: Lieferando, Uber Eats & Wolt. For groceries: Getir, Gorillaz & Flink.

Parking

 

 

 

 

Public parking in the area around the apartment complex costs 3,00€ per hour from Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays public parking is free of charge.

You are however welcome to book a private and secure parking space in the courtyard of the apartment complex for 15,00€ per night. Kindly let us know if you are interested and we will reserve a parking space for you.

Party

Parties and noisy events are strictly forbidden.

In case of contravention, we reserve the right to cancel your booking immediately. Furthermore, we ask you to respect the night's rest of our neighbors and other guests from 10pm.

Payment process

When you booked through an operator like Airbnb, Booking.com or Expedia the whole payment process will be provided by them.

We don't have any influence here. So unfortunately we are not able to assist you here. We are really sorry for that and hope for your understanding.

Pets

Since we also like to welcome guests who are allergic to animal hair, we must unfortunately prohibit any pets in our house. Thanks for your understanding.

Prior Arrival

 

This is not a problem at all, as the person who booked the apartment receives the digital door code after completing the online check-in and can then pass it on to the other people in the booking. However, all guests in a booking should not pass on the door code to external persons. With the door code all guests of a booking can enter the apartment house and the booked apartment beginning from 3 pm on the day of arrival.

public transport

 


The train station 'Beusselstrasse' is only 200 meters away from the apartment.

The 'ringbahn/circle line', the line which leaves from the train station "Beusselstrasse" is operating 24h during the weekend and until around 1am during the week. It will give you good access to the whole city. Here you will find the current departure times: https://sbahn.berlin/en/plan-a-journey/rail-stations/beusselstrasse/

If you go one stop from there to 'Westhafen' you can change to the orange line (U9) which takes you to the western part of Berlin within 15min, e.g. to 'Kurfürstendamm'.

If you go two stations from 'Beusselstrasse' to 'Wedding' you can change to the purple line (U6) which takes you to 'Friedrichstrasse' and to Kreuzberg. 

If you go three stations from 'Beusselstrasse' to 'Gesundbrunnen' you can change to the blue line (U8) which takes you to 'Alexanderplatz' and to the former eastern part of Berlin. 

Furthermore you can ride the bus line '123', which also departs from the train station 'Beusselstrasse' and takes you to Berlin Main Station.

Safe

Each apartment has a small safe. Please store your valuables there.

Although Berlin is a safe city, we recommend you to play it safer.

Sleeping sofa

In case the aparment had a sofa bed you are welcome to use it to sleep separetly.

Please let us know at least 1 day before your arrival and we will be happy to prepare it for you.

Smoking

Each of our apartments is equipped with smoke detectors. If you want to smoke, please use the balcony or leave the apartment. Shishas and any other kind of smoking are strictly prohibited in the apartment.

In case of contraventions special cleaning fees of € 200.00 will be charged.

Berlin tap water is completely safe to drink.

Washing Machine

 


Each apartment in this location has its own washing machine and you will find the laundry pods in the wooden box in your apartment. If you experience any problems with the washing machine, please let us know.
Wifi

Each apartment is equipped with free WiFi. You can find the QR code or password in your digital guest map (tablet) in the apartment. Furthermore, you will find a welcome letter, placed on the table in the kitchen, which also entails all information regarding the Wifi in the apartment.
